This Bosal is made of rawhide with Chocolate Painted Rawhide. It has a rawhide core and is 1/2" diameter; 16 plaits; measures 10-1/2" in length by 5-1/4" wide at the widest part (between the 2 buttons) - inside measurement. It's soft to the touch, flexible yet firm.
